music for a lady gardener

my sister and brother in law got me this fabulous cd while they were touring abroad last year.  if i recall correctly she said it was purchased at the gift shop on agatha christie’s estate.

so how cool is that?

the selection is absolutely charming – wonderful little vintage songs about gardening and warm weather! songs like:

“red roses for a blue lady”

“summertime”

“lavender blue”

i listened to it all winter long.

when i was tidying up the other day, a comment card slipped out of the jewel case advertising an entire  line of cds.  i had to go have me a look-see.   i discovered that they have some pretty unique things,  including a line of music just for gardening .  so i am looking now at songs for  the head gardener described as “jolly songs and music for gardening.” isn’t that a riot? i think i need this for the head gardener at our house….

if you have kidlets you should take a look at their music for children.  the teddy bears’ picnic looked darling.
